Summer awaits – registration now open for 2025 Lexington Parks & Recreation camps!

Registration is now open for a variety of summer camps being offered by Lexington’s Division of Parks & Recreation in 2025. Online registration is available through the city’s website and in-person registration can be completed at the Parks & Recreation Administrative Office.

“We’re so excited to bring another wide mix of camps to Lexington this summer,” said Monica Conrad, Director of Lexington Parks & Recreation. “I know we’re all eager for warmer weather, so it’s exciting to be planning for summer already and giving kids and teens an opportunity to explore nature, enjoy recreational activities, and discover all their local parks and facilities have to offer. With such a variety of camps – there’s something for everyone this summer!”

There are 17 camps being offered, including annual favorites such as Camp Kearney, as well as a variety of others with activities including art, dance, equestrian riding, golf, swimming, Therapeutic Recreation for people with special needs, and tennis. With over 98 sessions across all camps, there is something for everyone, no matter their interests. In addition to camps for younger kids, the Rising Leaders Teen Camp returns this year, offering a camp for ages 12–15.

  • Equestrian Camp at Masterson Station Park
  • ESP Summer Fun Camp at Coventry Oak Elementary
  • ESP Summer Fun Camp at Julius Marks Elementary
  • ESP Summer Fun Camp at Stonewall Elementary
  • Play Golf Lex Junior Golf Camp at Lakeside Golf Course
  • Rising Leaders Teen Camp at Kenwick Community Center
  • S.T. Roach Basketball & Cheerleader Clinic at Dunbar Community Center
  • Tennis and Swim Camp at Shillito Park
  • Therapeutic Recreation Camp at Castlewood Park
  • Therapeutic Recreation Camp at Woodland Park
  • Therapeutic Recreation Daytrippers at Dunbar Community Center
  • Youth Football Combine

For assistance with online registration, interested persons are encouraged to call (859) 288-2980. If English is not the preferred language, website visitors can click the “Language” link at the top of the page to translate any pages on the city website to one of 105 other languages. Financial assistance is available for qualifying households.
