Police technology assist out-of-state agency with arrests

Lexington Police technology helps locate and arrest wanted subjects from Indiana. 

On February 18, 2025, Flock license plate readers alerted officers that a vehicle wanted in connection with a crime from Dearborn County, Indiana, was in Lexington. With assistance from the Lexington Police Department’s Real-Time Intelligence Center, officers were able to locate the vehicle and identify the driver and passenger. 

Robert Harden, 23, was charged with Receiving Stolen Property $10,000 or more and Receiving Stolen Property $500<$1,000 from the Lexington Police Department and warrants from Dearborn County, Indiana. He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center. 

Samantha Brewer, 39, was charged with Receiving Stolen Property $10,000 or more and Receiving Stolen Property $500<$1,000 from the Lexington Police Department and warrants from Dearborn County, Indiana. She is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
