Section of Waveland Museum Lane to be closed for road work

Waveland Museum Lane will be closed between Winthrop Drive and the Waveland State Historic Site from Monday, March 10 to Wednesday, March 12 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. for road work. 

There will be no thru traffic during the closure. Residents in the Winthrop neighborhood can use Nicholasville Road and Man O’ War Boulevard as a detour route. Museum visitors and residents who live off Waveland Museum Lane will be able to access their homes and the museum. 

This closure will allow the City’s Division of Streets and Roads to address drainage issues that have affected the road and perform shoulder maintenance.
