One charged in connection with Rambling Creek Drive Homicide Investigation

UPDATE: March 12, 2025 – One person has been charged in the shooting death of Arsenio Jackson Jr, 16.
A 17-year-old was charged with Murder in connection with the homicide that took place on March 4, 2025 on Rambling Creek Drive. The 17-year-old is currently being held at a juvenile detention center.

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in the overnight hours on Rambling Creek Drive.
On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, around 1:57 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Rambling Creek Drive for shots fired. When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the roadway. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the decedent’s name.
