Police make an arrest after morning robbery

Officers make a quick arrest using police technology following a robbery that occurred this morning. 

On March 27, 2025, around 8:11 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Kroger on Richmond Road for a robbery that had just occurred. A male suspect entered the store and approached the service desk with a note demanding cash. The suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported. 

Officers located the suspect’s vehicle a short time later using camera footage and the department’s Real-Time Intelligence Center, including the traffic camera network and Flock license plate reader system. Randall Curtis, 44, was arrested and charged with Robbery 2nd Degree. He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
