Three charged after shots fired incident

Three individuals were charged after a shots fired incident that occurred just after midnight.  

On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, around 12:15 a.m., West Sector patrol officers heard shots fired in the area of Cambridge Drive. Around the same time, officers also received a Flock LPR alert about a stolen vehicle in the area of Alexandria Drive and Leestown Road. An officer in the area was able to locate the vehicle in the 1300 block of Alexandria Drive. 

Antonio Sparks, 19, was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property ($1,000<$10,000), Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree, Violation of Conditions of Release, and an unrelated warrant. He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center. 

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with Receiving Stolen Property ($1,000<$10,000), Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree, and Possession of Handgun by Minor.  A 14-year-old juvenile was charged with Receiving Stolen Property ($1,000<$10,000), Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree, and Possession of Handgun by Minor. Both are being held at a juvenile detention center.
