250LEX: The ride on with “Tour de Lex,” presented by R. J. Corman

On you mark … get set … ride … the R.J. Corman Tour de Lex is coming to Lexington on Saturday, July 26.

“Tour de Lex is a wonderful, family-friendly way to explore our beautiful city, and celebrate our 250thanniversary together,” Mayor Linda Gorton said. “Thanks to our friends at R. J. Corman for helping make this a memorable experience for all.”

R.J. Corman Tour de Lex is a casual, family-friendly bike ride that celebrates Lexington’s 250th anniversary.

The ride will start at the Kentucky Horse Park. Riders of all ages will enjoy a scenic journey along the Legacy Trail, one of the region’s most beloved greenways, ending at the North Lexington YMCA.

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just out for a leisurely ride, this event is the perfect way to explore the natural beauty of Lexington, while honoring its rich history. Bring your family, friends, and love for the Bluegrass, and help Lexington make history on two wheels!

R. J. Corman Railroad Group is the title sponsor of Tour de Lex. The Kentucky Horse Park and the YMCA of Central Kentucky are also sponsors.

Tour de Lex is part of the city’s year-long celebration of its 250th anniversary.

The bike race is set to begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 26, at the Kentucky Horse Park. Tickets for youth riders are $10. Adult tickets are $15. Tickets can be purchased here.
