Georgetown Road Shooting Investigation Arrest

One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred on Georgetown Road on June 10.
On June 10, 2025, around 8:45 pm, officers were dispatched to the area of Georgetown Rd and Citation Blvd for a shooting with a victim. The male victim told officers he was traveling on Georgetown Road when the shooting occurred. The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.
Malachi Haynes, 19, was arrested on June 18, 2025, and charged with Assault 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree. He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
