Storm drain repair operations through Sept. 4
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 3, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a temporary closure for Old Richmond Road/KY 2328 has been extended through Thursday, Sept. 4. The closure is necessary for storm drain repair operations.
Tuesday, Sept. 2 through Thursday, Sept. 4 – 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day
Old Richmond Road/KY 2328
- a closure will be in place daily between milepoints 0 and 0.517
- the location is between the Fayette-Madison County line and Beach Road (a county road)
- motorists will need to utilize alternate routes, such as north and southbound Interstate 75
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
