Railroad crossing repairs
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 1, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a road closure in place. The temporary closure is necessary for railroad crossing repair operations.
Wednesday, Oct. 1 through Friday, Oct. 10 – currently and until approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10
South Main Street/KY 1268 (in Wilmore)
- a closure is in effect at milepoint 12.474
- the nearest intersection is Rice Street
Alternate Routes
- KY 3433
- East College Street via North Maple Street to the west of the crossing
- KY 3433 via Butler Boulevard on the east of the crossing
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
