Tree removal operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 3, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure. The temporary closure will be necessary for tree removal operations.
Monday, Oct. 6 – 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Paris Pike/US 68
- a lane closure will be in effect for the left/fast lane at milepoint 12.989 – 12.269
- the location will be from Paris to Lexington (between Ironworks and Johnston Road)
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
