One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred in last night on W Sixth Street.
On March 17, 2026, around 8:40 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of W Sixth St for a shooting with a victim. When they arrived, they located a male victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.
Neffitiri Miller, 36, was arrested at the scene and charged with Assault 1st Degree (Domestic Violence). She is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
