Curbside recycling resumes on Tuesday

A wide, overhead shot of the Lexington Recycle Center. There are lots of conveyer belts with recycling on them and people in the background.

Curbside recycling collection through Lexington’s Division of Waste Management will return to normal on Tuesday, March 31. Trash and yard waste cart collection is also on the normal schedule.

The tipping floor of the Lexington Recycle Center has been cleared to store recyclables. The center remains shut down, but is expected to be operational by the end of the week. An equipment failure last Thursday required the center to shut down unexpectedly. We appreciate residents with Friday and Monday collection who were able to hold back their recycle carts on their most recent collection days.
