The current closure of Rosemont Garden from Lafayette Parkway to Cherrybark Drive has been extended to early February, 2026. This is a 24 hour/day closure for sanitary sewer construction.
Drivers should use Cherrybark Drive and Southland Drive to detour around the closure. Drive slowly and watch for workers and pedestrians.
Residents will be able to access their homes during construction.
This work is part of a project to upsize approximately 4,500 feet of sanitary sewer line along Wolf Run Creek. Construction is estimated to be finished by the end of 2026. This project is part of the federal consent decree requirements for Lexington to improve its sanitary sewer system.
