A juvenile has been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred in last night on Hedgewood Court.
On Monday, January 5, 2026, around 6:53 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Hedgewood Court for a shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, they located a female victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported life-threatening injuries.
A 16-year-old juvenile was taken into custody at the scene. They have been charged with Assault 1st Degree and are currently being held at a juvenile detention center.
