The city is suspending garbage collection on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
“Low temperatures continue to make it unsafe for our waste management employees to work outside, and it’s dangerous to operate these big trucks on slick residential streets,” Mayor Linda Gorton said. “It’s also difficult for residents to get their carts to the curb.”
With cold conditions continuing throughout the week, decisions on city waste collection service will be announced each day.
