One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred this afternoon on Dedman Lane.
On Saturday, March 14, 2026, around 12:52 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 5400 block of Dedman Lane for a shooting with a victim. When they arrived, they located a 66-year-old male victim who had been shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital in reported critical condition.
Tristan Johnson, 27, was arrested at the scene and was charged with Assault 1st Degree. He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
