Two people have been arrested and charged following a shots fired and barricaded subject call that occurred this evening on Crown Circle.
On Sunday, March 29, 2026, around 6:48 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 of Crown Circle for a reported shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, they learned that shots had been fired, but no one was injured. Officers then attempted to make contact with individuals inside the residence. One suspect exited the residence, but the second suspect refused and barricaded themself inside. The department’s Emergency Response Unit was called out, and the second suspect exited the residence and was taken into custody.
Wilfredo Salazar, 47, was charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree and Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree. Juan Hernandez, 34, was charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. Both are currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
