Asphalt resurfacing
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 29, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of asphalt resurfacing operations scheduled for Scott County. Lane closures will be in place and flaggers will assist with traffic control. Motorists will be able to pass through the work zone.
Monday, Sept. 8 through Friday, Sept. 12 – 7 p.m. evenings until 6 a.m. mornings
Scott County
Connector Road/KY 1609:
- work will be in effect between milepoints 0.00 – 1.110
- the location is between Cherry Blossom Way and Paris Pike
West Main Street/US 460:
- work will be in effect between milepoints 8.583 – 11.497
- the location is between Paynes Depot Road and Falmouth Drive
All work and/or closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
