Asphalt resurfacing for Russell Cave Road/KY 353
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 3, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled asphalt resurfacing operations. Lane closures will be in effect with flaggers assisting with traffic control.
Sunday, Sept. 7 through Tuesday, Sept. 16
Note: operations begin at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7
Fayette County – North and Southbound
- operations will be located between milepoints 0.0 and 6.75
- areas for work:
- New Circle Road/KY 4 to Interstate 75 (milepoints 0.0 – 1.18) – Sept. 7 through Sept. 9 during the hours of 7 p.m. until 7 a.m.
- Interstate 75 to Greenwich Pike (milepoints 1.18 – 6.75) – Sept. 7 through Sept. 16 during the hours of 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
- motorists and emergency vehicles will be able to pass through the work zone
Alternate Route
- motorists can utilize Paris Pike/US 27 and Newtown Pike/KY 922
All work and/or closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
