Victims of deadly Laurel County crash identified
Three people were killed in Laurel County Monday night after a head-on collision on the interstate, according to the London Police Department. Police said the crash happened around 11 p.m. near the exit 38 overpass on I-75.
A Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was heading northbound in the southbound lanes and struck a Nissan Altima with three occupants inside. All three people in the Altima were killed, per police. The driver of the pickup truck suffered severe but non-life-threatening injuries and was sent to the hospital, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deshawn Love, the driver of the Altima, and passengers Kevin Criglear and Alihya Dukes all died in the crash. All three were 25 years old and from the Chicago area, according to the sheriff’s office. The sheriff’s office identified the driver of the pickup truck as 21-year-old Joshua Poore of Clovis, Calif. The sheriff’s office said charges for Poore are pending.
