Alleged Bank Robber Captured in Lexington

Police have identified 41-year-old Jonathan Richardson as the suspect Tuesday afternoon, according to a WKYT report. A short time later, the report says Richardson turned himself in.
The robbery occurred Monday morning at the 5th/3rd Bank on Walden Drive, off Tates Creek Rd.
Police said Richardson had a gun and handed the teller a note demanding money. They said the teller handed it over, and the suspect fled the scene with a small amount of cash.
Police also say they got the bank robbery suspect’s fingerprints off phone he left behind.
