Women’s hospital at St Joe East receives $100,000 grant

The Women’s Hospital at Saint Joseph East received a $100,000 grant from the WHAS Crusade for Children to upgrading equipment to aid newborn babies, according to a Fox 56 report.
“Last year, more than 14% of the births at the Women’s Hospital were admitted to the NICU. We know that babies born prematurely and those born with special needs require close monitoring and specialized medical care. We are able to update this critical equipment in the NICU thanks to the generosity of the WHAS Crusade for Children”
Leslie Smart, CFRE, president of Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation
The existing 60,000-square-foot, three-floor facility features patient- and family-centered design and amenities, including an education center.
