Check out the plan for Lexington’s new grocery store – is it a Publix?
Update: The Herald-Leader is reporting that Publix just confirmed what Times readers have known for months: The new store will indeed be a Publix!
There’s a new grocery store coming to the corner of Georgetown and Citation in Lexington. The developer, Fuqua Development, has built Publix stores in the past, but hasn’t officially announced what the new store will be. We pulled the plans from the Planning Commission to see if we could find any clues.
Check out the cart corrals. They are “parking spot” style ones that Publix often uses. Could it be a clue?
