Kentucky’s 4th annual Sustainability Summit will be April 10th at the University of Kentucky Gatton Student Center. Bluegrass Greensource are this year’s host of the full-day conference from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The event aims to bring together community and business leaders seeking to move the sustainability needle and enact change in their communities.

Attendees will hear from regional Sustainability Coordinators and groups from Lexington, Cincinnati, Louisville, Danville and Washington County. The hope is to bring regional ideas, examples, and solutions to timely topics for the Bluegrass.

Executive Director Amy Sohner said the goal is to leave those who attend feeling empowered and equipped to instill change in their own communities.

“And we aim to accomplish this by conversing with a collection of changemakers in areas such as waste reduction, food & community gardens, energy, transportation, water, climate, and more.”

Online registration for the event is now open with discounted pricing available for students, educators, elected officials, and Bluegrass Greensource Resource Society members.
