University of Kentucky Faculty Senate prepares for ‘no confidence’ vote on school president

The University of Kentucky’s Faculty Senate has scheduled a “no confidence” vote on President Eli Capilouto Monday. Faculty Senate members declined interview requests, but the agenda item accuses Capilouto of amplifying false narratives that senate faculty members don’t prioritize student needs. Capilouto’s office also declined an interview request, releasing a statement from the Board of Trustees chair saying the board has full confidence in him.
