Kentucky is under threat for severe weather today

The National Weather Service says strong storms, possible tornadoes, hail, wind, and flooding are possible Sunday afternoon and evening.

The NWS issued a Tornado watch for most of the Commonwealth which extends through the overnight hours.

Officials say the greatest risk for severe weather and flooding will be after dark.
