Cross drain replacement operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 24, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled closure for Pinckard Pike/KY 169. The temporary closure is necessary for cross drain installation operations.
Thursday, June 26 – 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Pinckard Pike/KY 169 – East & Westbound
- a closure for cross drain replacement work will be in effect between milepoints 2.8 – 3.0
- this location is .1 miles from Jones Lane (CR)
Note:
- the traveling public will have access to Eckert’s-Boyd Orchard
- the closure will be at the left of the driveway to the orchard
- motorists will need to turn right when leaving the orchard
Alternate Routes
- motorists can utilize Shannon Run Road/KY 1967
- semi-trucks can utilize Shannon Run Road/KY 1967 to access US 60
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
