Thermoplastic markings
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 7, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that thermoplastic marking operations are scheduled for Garrard and Mercer Counties. Markings include stop bars, crosswalks and arrows.
The markings improve reflectivity, and visibility which enhance safety. Flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic. Motorists will be able to pass through the work zones.
Monday, July 7 – currently and until 5 p.m.
Garrard County
US 27
- the intersection with KY 34 (milepoint 10.4)
- the intersection with KY 39 (milepoint 3.1)
- the intersection with KY 52 (milepoint 3.0)
- the intersection with KY 52/North Campbell Street (milepoint 5.2)
Mercer County
US 127
- the intersection with US 127 at US 68 (milepoint 7.0)

District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
