Thermoplastic markings
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 5, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that thermoplastic marking operations are scheduled for Bourbon County. Markings include stop bars, crosswalks and arrows. The markings improve reflectivity, and visibility which enhance safety. Flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic. Motorists can pass through the work zones.
Bourbon County – intersections
Tuesday, August 5 – currently and until 5 p.m.
Wednesday, August 6 through Friday, August 8 – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day

- US 68/27 Bypass at Fords Mill Road (milepoint 7.447)
- US 68/27 Bypass at Save A Lot (milepoint 7.456)
- US 27 at US 68 (milepoints 0.0 – 6.195)

- KY 627 at Pleasant Street (milepoint 9.179)
- US 68 at US 460 (milepoint 2.59)
