One person is in custody following a shooting that occurred overnight on Boxwood Drive.
On November 3, 2025, around 3:05 am, officers were dispatched to the 1100 Block of Boxwood Drive for a shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, they located a victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, Leonard Slaughter, 39, was arrested at the scene. He was charged with two counts of Assault 1st Degree and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree.
