250Lex will celebrate all things arts in November as it kicks off the eleventh month of the City’s year-long celebration of its 250th anniversary.

“Lexington is a talented community, with so many wonderful artists with creative perspectives to showcase, and this month we are doing exactly that,” Mayor Linda Gorton said. “The arts connect us, and help us tell the story that has shaped Lexington for 250 years.”

Nathan Zamarron, Arts Month Co-Ambassador, said, “250Lex is pleased to announce November as Arts Month, celebrating the creativity, talent and vibrant culture of our city. Arts Month offers diverse events representing many artistic genres including music, dance, theatre, visuals arts and literature.” The month has been curated by our Arts Month Co-Chairs, Edd Mackey, Manager of National and Local Arts for the Lexington Opera House, and Zamarron, Vice President of LexArts, in partnership with the many arts organizations presenting each event.

“250Lex thanks Lexington Clinic for sponsoring Arts Month and invites the public to join us in attending many free events and learning how to engage in the arts of our great city,” Zamarron said.
