Crews and contractors worked overnight
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 12, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises that crews continue to monitor routes. Personnel will treat and patrol routes for counties within the district as needed. Wet roads can present hazardous driving conditions.
Motorists should remember that as temperatures drop this evening there is the possibility of black ice. Black ice can form on previously treated asphalt and concrete. Ice develops on bridges, overpasses, and ramps prior to surface level roadways.
