Partners for Youth is excited to announce the launch of a holiday initiative for Lexington teens. The Be an Elf project was created by Partners for Youth with the support of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County City Council to fill the gap for youth ineligible for existing holiday gift programs.
Elves assist Santa in making Christmas a joyous and magical experience for children. The magic doesn’t stop once a child turns 13. Be an Elf asks families and individuals in Lexington and beyond to help make the holiday wishes of teens 13-18 come true. These youth are part of families who are experiencing financial difficulties and are full-time students within the Fayette County Public Schools system. Individuals aged 18 years are eligible as long as they are currently enrolled full-time within the FCPS school system and are unable to work a part-time job due to academics, sports and/or have the responsibility of caring for siblings under 12 years of age.
If you or someone you know would like to become an elf, register and help make the holidays brighter for local youth.
