Two people have been arrested following a disorder and robbery that occurred this afternoon.
On November 6, 2025, around 1:00 pm, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Lackawanna Road for a disorder. When officers arrived, they learned that two suspects entered a construction area and began a disorder with individuals in the area. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle after physically assaulting and taking personal property from one of the individuals. The victim was taken to a local hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.
With assistance from the department’s Real-Time Intelligence Center and the Air Support Unit, officers were able to locate the suspects a short time later.
John Obando, age 24, was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, and Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle.
