Registration is open for Kentucky Voices for Health‘s 2025 annual meeting, to be held Dec. 9 at the Hyatt Regency Lexington. Click here to register.

“Sessions will touch on the impact of recent state and federal legislation, how providers and communities are preparing for changes, and opportunities for advocacy as we prepare for the 2026 General Assembly,” according to the press release.

Sessions at the event will look at the impact of funding cuts and eligibility changes, while also looking to the future; updates from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services; KVH updates; strategies for communities to prepare for the upcoming changes to Medicaid, Medicare and Kynect, the state’s marketplace for the Affordable Care Act insurance plans; and a legislative preview titled, Advancing Policies for a Healthier Kentucky.

Majority Floor Leader, Sen. Max Wise, R-Campbellsville, and Rep. Derek Lewis, R-London, Rep. Ken Fleming, R-Louisville, and Rep. Mary Lou Marzian, D-Louisville, will take part in the legislative panel.
