Slide repair operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 13, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that the scheduled slide repair operations will continue through Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Note: weekday work only — no weekend work
Thursday, Nov. 13 through Tuesday, Nov. 18 – 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily
KY 39
- one closure will remain in effect at milepoint 0.88
- both lanes may need to be closed at the same time for a period of 15 minutes at a time
Alternate Routes
- South – River Road/KY 1541
- North – Grayhart Lane (CR 1124)
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
