Slide repair operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 18, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled lane closure. The closure is necessary for slide repair operations.
Note: weekday work only — no weekend work
Wednesday, Nov. 19 through Tuesday, Nov. 25 – 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily
KY 1541
- one lane closure will remain in effect at milepoint 0.30
- additional lanes may need to be closed at the same time for a period of 15 minutes
Alternate Routes
- South – Sulphur Well Pike/KY 39
- North – Pollard Pike (CR 1117)
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
