Leestown Road/US 421 at Lucille Drive
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 10, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a new signal for Fayette County. The signal installation will provide additional safety for Leestown Road/US 421 at Lucille Drive (milepoint 3.28) in Lexington.
Friday, Dec. 12 – signal activation at 10 a.m. (time is approximate)
- the signals are currently on flash operation: Leestown Road/US 421 (yellow flash) and Lucille Drive (red flash)
- the signal will be a two (2) phase signal with permitted only (flashing yellow arrow) left turn signals on Leestown Road/US 421
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
