Floyd Drive will be closed from New Circle Road to Contract Street beginning Monday, Jan. 26, weather permitting. The closure will last for approximately three months to allow sanitary sewer construction in the roadway.
For the first few weeks of the closure, the service road running parallel to New Circle will be closed between Floyd Drive and New Circle. It will reopen as soon as construction is completed in that area.
Business driveway access will be maintained during construction.
Commuters may use Eastland Drive and East Loudon Avenue to detour around the closure. Drive slowly and watch for workers and pedestrians in construction areas.
