One person has been arrested and charged following a shots fired incident that occurred yesterday on Danielle Lane.
On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, around 12:15 pm, officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Danielle Lane for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they located shell casings in the roadway. Officers were told that the victim and suspect were engaged in a disorder when the suspect discharged a firearm towards the victim’s residence.
Chelsey Engle, 31, was arrested and charged with three counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Assault 4th Degree, and Discharging a Firearm within Urban County limits. She is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
