Motorists are advised to slow down, watch for crews working
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 30, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled pothole repairs on Interstate 64 in Montgomery County. Rolling roadblocks (a mobile operation) will be utilized from midnight to 6 a.m. Thursday, April 2. Temporary traffic delays are possible during operations. Motorists are advised to watch for signage and personnel in the area.
Interstate 64 – Eastbound and Westbound
Eastbound
- Operations will begin at mile point 104 and proceed toward mile point 115
Westbound
- Operations will begin after eastbound lanes are completed, starting at mile point 115 and proceeding back toward mile point 104
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
