Daytime closure planned April 7-9
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 3, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 1160 (Talmage-Mayo Road) in Mercer County for cross drain replacement.
KY 1160 will be closed between mile points 9.0 and 11.0 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on Tuesday, April 7 through Thursday, April 9. The roadway will reopen to traffic each day after 3 p.m.
Motorists should seek alternate routes during closure hours.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
