The Lexington Police Department Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating an injury collision that occurred Saturday evening on Nicholasville Road.
On Saturday, August 16, 2025, around 11:00 p.m., officers received a call about a non-injury hit-and-run collision that occurred near Waller Avenue and Nicholasville Road. The suspect vehicle fled the scene and was involved in a three-vehicle injury collision on Nicholasville Road near Canary Road a short time later. Three people were taken to a local hospital, one person with reported life-threatening injuries and the other two with reported non-life-threatening injuries.
A 17-year-old was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, Assault 1st Degree, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
