Hoover Road/KY 3374 in Jessamine County
Temporary lane closures for asphalt resurfacing
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 30, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. Resurfacing operations for a section of Hoover Road/KY 3374 have been rescheduled due to inclement weather. The work will be completed by the Allen Company Inc.
Resurfacing includes layering new asphalt over an existing asphalt or concrete surface. The procedure assists with extending the lifespan and enhancing the performance of the roadway. In addition, resurfacing eliminates pooling water due to dips in the surface. Pooled water can damage lower layers of asphalt and concrete.
