Rolling roadblocks will be utilized
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 17, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled work for Interstate 75. Operations will include maintenance around interstate panel and road signs. Rolling roadblocks (a mobile operation) will be utilized for the work. Temporary delays for traffic during the operations could be approximately 15-20 minutes. The District 7 Madison County Maintenance Crew will be performing the work. The Kentucky State Police will be assisting with traffic control.
Monday, Sept. 22 – 12 a.m. (midnight) until 6 a.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 23 – 12 a.m. (midnight) until 6 a.m.
Interstate 75
- work will begin at Duncannon Lane/Exit 83 and progress to the Fayette-Madison County line (milepoint 97.7)
The traveling public should expect delays during the hours of scheduled repair operations.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
