The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred this evening on E Seventh Street.
On September 30, 2025, around 8:15 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of E Seventh Street for a reported shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, they located a victim who had been shot. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the decedent’s name.
