LPD Data: Suspects charged in 55% of 2022 homicides, up from 43% in 2021
Newly updated data shows that the Lexington Police Department has successfully charged a suspect in 21, or 55%, of Lexington’s 38 2022 homicides. By comparison that percentage was 43% in 2021 and 78% in 2020.
