Webb credited with $2.3M charitable gift for selling estate at $8M+ over taxable value
Wily real estate investor Dudley Webb got a little donation to his name following the sale of Webb Manor. Even though the PVA’s website lists the taxable value as $1.4M, the massive estate at 2160 Versailles Rd was appraised for $12.4M and sold for $10.1M.
Webb appears to have benefitted greatly here, at the expense of Fayette County Public Schools and Fayette County taxpayers. Not only did he pay fewer taxes as a result of the low assessments, but now he gets a huge check AND credit for a charitable donation from them, as well.
