13 year old was shot at Woodhill Dr and Peachtree Rd in Lexington, Ky on October 6

The Lexington Police Department’s recently updated crime data shows a 13 year-old was shot at Woodhill Drive and Peachtree Road sometime on Thursday, October 6.


The incident does not appear to have been previously reported–as of press time, it was not listed in the Gun Violence Archive’s list of 2022 Lexington shootings, which compiles media reports of gun violence. [The incident has now been added to the GVA as a result of our reporting.]
It is the 104th nonfatal Lexington shooting of 2022, according to police data.
